Porosity & Inclusion Analysis

The porosity and inclusion analysis detects and quantifies internal voids, pores, cracks, and foreign inclusions within a part. Using 3D CT data, we determine size, shape, distribution, and location of these discontinuities based on industry standards (P 201/VW 50097). The result is a comprehensive visualization and statistical output for assessing material quality and component performance.

Coordinate & Geometric Measurement

This analysis provides precise dimensional and geometric tolerance measurements from CT scan data. Distances, angles, positions and other critical dimensions are evaluated directly on the voxel dataset without surface conversion. The measurement results support reliable quality control and verification of manufacturing specifications.

Wall Thickness Analysis

Wall thickness analysis evaluates the material thickness throughout the part, identifying areas with insufficient or excessive thickness. Results are visualized with color maps to highlight critical zones. This analysis is essential for quality assessment, especially for complex or additively manufactured components.

Nominal vs. Actual Comparison

This comparison evaluates deviations between the nominal CAD model and the actual CT scan of a part. Deviations are presented in a color-coded deviation map, making it easy to identify areas outside tolerance. This analysis is crucial for verifying manufacturing accuracy and conformity to design intent.
